Jon Voight appeared on Fox News’  this weekend and slammed Barack Obama for being arrogant, and essentially playing God when it comes to health care.

According to Jon, we are “witnessing a slow and steady takeover of our true freedoms” and becoming a “socialist nation” thanks to Obama and “civil unrest.”

Health care is a “personal crusade” of Obama that no one wants.

The 70-year-old actor also says the President is “forcing upon” Americans something they do not want, even though their elected representatives will have to vote on it.

Seth Rogen has revealed that he is relieved that the release date for Green Hornet was pushed back by five months.

Columbia Pictures have announced that the superhero film, co-starring Cameron Diaz and Nicolas Cage, will be released on December 17, 2010.

It was previously scheduled to open in cinemas on July 7. However, the Pineapple Express star has said that the delay will benefit the project.

He told Hit Fix: “We’re both relieved and psyched about the change. It gives more time for post, which would have been immensely rushed if we were to come out in the summer.

He added: “It also affords us more time to promote the film (now we can go to Comic-Con with more than a car!) and ultimately is a great vote of confidence from the studio. We got the same date that movies like I Am Legend and Avatar are getting, so we’re thrilled to be there.”

It was recently announced that Taiwanese actor Jay Chou had been cast as the Green Hornet’s sidekick Kato.

Kaiser Chiefs drummer Nick Hodgson has reportedly declared that the band are not on the verge of breaking up, following rumours on Twitter.

The announcement came after XFM news reporter Sunta Templeton posted messages on Twitter after an interview with the ‘Ruby’ rockers. She claimed that their Main Stage show yesterday at the Leeds Festival “could be the end” for the band and that they were not planning to release any more records.

However, after reading the post, Hodgson told NME: “People only write sensationalist stuff on Twitter so people will read it. I can definitely confirm that XFM have got it wrong.”

Following the statement, Kaiser Chiefs played a slot on the closing day of the Leeds festival. During the performance, frontman Ricky Wilson declared that the fans were more enthusiastic than those at the Reading leg of the event.

The singer later described the audience at the southern leg of the festival as “miserable b**tards” after playing hit single ‘I Predict A Riot’.

Before closing the set, the band made a small tribute to Oasis after their recent split, with Hodgson playing the beat to Oasis song ‘Live Forever’ to cheers from the crowd.

She’s always up to something, and last night (August 30) Miley Cyrus was spotted out to dinner at a Los Angeles-area steakhouse.

Life & Style magazine is reporting that Grey’s Anatomy’s McSteamy and his wife are expecting, saying that Rebecca is three or four months along.

“Having a baby has been a top priority of the past six months,” the magazine quotes a source close to the pair as saying. “She turned down the role of Penn Badgley’s mother on Gossip Girl because it was based in NYC and she didn’t want to be away from Eric or travel that far. It was bad for her health. She also turned down a Hallmark movie and a Lifetime movie because she was trying to have a baby.”

The couple, who wed in 2004, recently made headlines for another reason when a nude video of themselves and former Miss Teen USA Kari Ann Peniche made its way online.
