Tori Spelling in Hospital

Giving everyone quite a scare, Tori Spelling was admitted to the hospital Monday night after complaining of severe pain in her stomach.

An official statement from her rep yesterday said, “Tori went to the hospital last night for abdominal pain.  They released her last night.”

Spelling’s rep continued, “She wasn’t feeling better today (Tuesday), so she returned to the hospital for more tests.”

Keeping fans abreast to the situation, Tori’s husband Dean McDermott wrote on his Twitter page on Monday night, saying, “T is in the hospital now with severe stomach pains.  We’re trying to get her comfortable.”

Later in the night, he tweeted, “Just out of the hospital. After a battery of tests, no conclusive answers. She still feels terrible. Hope it passes soon. She’s in a lot of pain.”

Selena Gomez New Album Release

The long wait for Selena Gomez’s new album Kiss and Tell is over, and last night (September 29), she was at Siren Studios in Hollywood for the record release party.

The “Wizards of Waverly Place” hottie looked excited as she posed for the paparazzi in a gold top with a sequined skirt and muted yellow pumps.

And it seems Selena’s fans stayed up late to purchase the new album at its midnight release, giving her a sales boost right away.

On Monday night, Miss Gomez tweeted, “Thank you East coast and Central time for support me and The Scene’s new album. You are all the greatest!!!!!!”

A crew working for the X Factor were reportedly stopped and held at a Dubai airport, it has emerged.Apparently the TV production staff, who were travelling with six female contestants, were detained for over two hours while they were probed by airport staff in Dubai.

The crew were travelling to the county with the finalists to work with mentor Dannii Minogue (who’s going to be supported by her sister Kylie), but security somehow got the impression that they were either making a negative programme about their customs, or that they filming a raunchy pop video.

But after examining all of their equipment (which they took apart) and after seeing their official ITV documentation  – they let them go. Thankfully.

Meanwhile girl band Tru Colourz have now been told to leave the X Factor after it was discovered one of girls was too young for the competition.

The group were jumping for joy when they made it through to the final 24 on Sunday night, but then the show’s producers found out that one of the girls was under 16 and they were hastily told to f-off. They’ve now been replaced by four piece band Harmony Hood.

Apple Tablet to Launch in May or June 2010?

iLounge reports that it has received a number of tips about Apple’s much rumored tablet computer from the same source who tipped off the site about the fifth-generation iPod nano. The source claims that the tablet device will sport a 10.7″ screen offering a resolution in the neighborhood of 720p, will run iPhone OS rather than Mac OS X, and should be announced on or before January 19th, 2010 for release in May or June of 2010.a

The report also claims that the device will be very iPhone-like in appearance, complete with a curved back, and that it will come in two varieties, one with 3G wireless connectivity and one without. Not designed to compete with low-cost netbooks, the tablet is reportedly being targeted to provide substantial book and magazine reading functionality along with an enhanced experience for the traditional functions of the iPhone and iPod touch.

Canada is the latest county to get Google street View for the iphone.

Vodafone + t-mobile to sell iphone in uk.

Vodafone today announced that it will begin offering the iPhone 3G and 3GS for sale in the UK and Ireland in early 2010.
Beginning today, Vodafone UK and Vodafone Ireland customers can register their interest in iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS at www.vodafone.co.uk/iphone and www.vodafone.ie/iphone respectively. Pricing, tariffs and availability information will be announced locally in the future.

The news comes just one day after Orange announced that it had struck a deal with Apple to begin selling the iPhone in the UK. The launches will bring to a rapid close wireless carrier O2’s exclusivity arrangement with Apple for iPhone distribution in the UK and Ireland, a status it has enjoyed since the launch of the original iPhone in those countries in November 2007 and March 2008 respectively.

It has also been reported the t-mobile will also announce in the coming days that they will also sell the iphone. This will mean that all the major networks in the UK will sell the iphone ! there goes the neighborhood

Is Janet Jackson Jermaine Dupri back together? Looking as if they may have rekindled their romance, Janet Jackson was side-by-side with Jermaine Dupri in Milan, Italy

janet jackson jermaine dupri reportedly split earlier this year. However the two seemed to be very happy together at the presentation of Vicini Spring/Summer Collection followed up by Donatella Versace’s afterparty.

Later in the evening, Janet changed into a fancy ensemble as she made her way to the amfAR inaugural shindig at La Permanente.
