Here’s what the judges had to say:

Ellen: Says she has a “very powerful voice” but points out that it was “very conservative” and she’d prefer her to be “modern, fresh and current” because she’s only 17.

Simon: Agrees and says it was like her mum and dad had dressed her and given her the song, which “became annoying”.

Kara: Asks whether she could hear herself because she was unusually pitchy. Praises her “natural gift” and hopes she gets another chance.

Randy: Thinks she has a big voice and reminds him of Jordin Sparks, but repeats the previous comments that he wants her to be 17.

American Idol continues tonight on Fox with the Top 12 boys performing for the first time

This was such a nice song from this American Idols. I think there is so much more to come from this year’s American Idols. The American idols live are really good this year I’m tempted to get American idol tickets either for the live shows or for the American Idols tour that will happen at some point this year
