xbox live not working

communication with the xbox live servers has been interrupted error is appearing

Xbox Live is down and  not working, the  servers are down and users cannot play any games, it seems to be affecting th U.S at the moment. The connection seems to be working fine but playing online is not working. According to the Xbox Status twitter account, the Xbox team is recognizing the server downtime and is now looking for some fixes.

some users currently see a message which reads “communication with the xbox live servers has been interrupted”.The official Xbox support twitter has acknowledged this problem and have tweeted “Just a reminder: We are working on bringing Live back up as soon as possible. We are aware of this problem”
